Voluntary Work

Volunteering with Adventure Heart is an enriching experience for everyone between 18 and 70 years who wishes to help and make a difference in some of the world's poorest regions.

Adventure Heart organizes, in collaboration with local partners around the world, a wide range of voluntary work, where people from around the world meet and have opportunities to learn language, culture and experience the everyday life in another country. The voluntary work is organized in almost all the countries we have Adventure Travels. Here you can see the projects for our different destinations:

There are many aspects of volunteering. Teaching in a school in India is not "just" teaching. It is also play, sports and caring. In your spare time you will experience life in the village and take part in daily life, festivals, celebrations and more.

In most cases there are no special requirements, besides relatively good English skills. But enthusiasm, understanding, patience and openness are important attributes which all will be improved on this trip.
The trip will give you an opportunity to make a difference to some of the poorest, while you experience new people and foreign cultures. You will be challenged and be able to draw on your experience for years to come! The journey is also a great way to learn more about yourselft. Your personal limits and abilities will be challenged tremendously! One of the most important things is obviously that the trip could improve your language skills significantly while you have fun in an international context and create contacts worldwide.

Please note that all our Adventure Travel can include voluntary work, some programs more than others. In our vision lies also preparing for the exciting and challenging work. It is best provided with an intro course on the country, language training and touring. Adventure trips are for you, who want to discover the country on all fronts, while making a difference.
